BREAST PAIN (MASTALGIA) - SURE DIAGNOSTIC

Breast pain (Mastalgia) — a common complaint among women — can include breast tenderness, sharp burning pain or tightness in your breast tissue. The pain may be constant or it may occur only occasionally.
Breast pain can range from mild to severe. It can affect you just a few days a month, for instance just before your period, or can last for seven days or more each month. Breast pain may affect you just before your period or it may continue throughout the menstrual cycle. Postmenopausal women sometimes have breast pain, but breast pain is more common in younger, premenopausal women and perimenopausal women.
Most times, breast pain signals a noncancerous (benign) breast condition and rarely indicates breast cancer. Still, unexplained breast pain that doesn't go away after one or two menstrual cycles or that persists after menopause and occurs in one specific area of your breast needs to be evaluated by your doctor.

The Public Trial Of Babatunde Fashola

From PaparazziExpressNG:

In his 8 years as governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola stood out amongst his peers. He was widely regarded as a performing governor who had a clear vision of transforming Lagos. He aggressively pursued policies that touched virtually every aspect of Lagos - Roads, bridges and markets were built and maintained. There was evidence everywhere to confirm his efforts to create a mega city. In the process he built a solid reputation for himself as a man who provided selfless service and as a man willing to utilize the vast resources of Lagos for the common good.

He was the golden boy who could do no wrong.Recent events have however shaken this hard-earned reputation to its very foundations. It all started with the disturbing revelation that Fashola had spent N78.3million of tax payers’ money to “upgrade” his website Tundefashola.com. Many at first found it hard to believe, but with eventual confirmation that the information was factual, it sent shockwaves all over the nation.Further revelations that the firm, Info Access Plus, which handled the upgrade was only paid N10million of theN78.3 million angered many Nigerians who were at a loss as to what happened to the balance of N68.3million. Further revelations were to come with the publication of other shady contracts awarded by the Fashola. These damning revelations were posted on the official Lagos State Government website to the surprise of many observers. Topping the list of these contracts were the reconstruction of Lagos House, Marina for N640million; N300million contract for the relocation of PHCN cables at LASUTH; replacement of railings on carter bridge for N175million. Another N619million for repairs to Ajara-Erekiti-Iragon-Ikoya roads in Badagry local government; a further N1.6billiom for the construction of VIP chalets at Badagry; another N510million contract for remodeling and equipping the official residence of the states chief judge at Ikoyi; a further N165million spent on an 18classroom school also in Badagry. It has also been revealed that Lagos State Governor Akinwumi Ambode recalled certificates of occupancy to 25 plots of land in Lekki alleged to have been issued by the Fashola government in its last days in office, to his relations, aides and associates. He was also reported to have spent an undisclosed sum of money on a private property in Lagos.

CLOSER LOOK AT DEUX PROJECTS LTD
Searchlight was also beamed on a close friend of former governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, Tunji Olowolafe, who was one of the major contractors in the administration of Fashola.Olowolafe’s company, Deux Project Limited, was said to have benefitted in the immediate past government of his bosom friend.Information concerning contracts awarded to Olowolafe by Fashola was revealed by Lagos State Public Procurement Agency on the Lagos State website and since then, residents of Lagos have been calling for the head of Olowolafe. Also, the call to probe Fashola has intensified.Contracts were reportedly awarded to the company running into billions of Naira. It was said that Deux Project Limited received about N139 million to drill two boreholes at Lagos House, Ikeja, Lagos. Also, about N300 million was reportedly paid by Lagos State Government under the former governor to handle relocation of cables belonging to the Power Holding Company of Nigeria at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, Ikeja.According to further reports, Olowolafe’s company got N220million for Lagos State University College of Medicine Facility Management.More revelations about juicy contracts awarded to this single company during the tenure of Mr. Fashola appeared lopsided and enough to raise eyebrows of many with more details emerging.

THE FAMOUS PIGFIGHT RESPONSE
Whilst confirming the authenticity of the above reports, Fashola attempted to defend himself with the recent release of a statement signed by him. In the statement, he spiritedly tried to explain that the contract for the website upgrade involved other works and services which went beyond the upgrade. He listed such other services as handover countdown clock, mobile apps, google, IOS ipad, Microsoft and blackberry. He dismissed the notion that the website was personal to him and claimed it helped him perform his job as governor. He also argued that all other contracts he awarded followed due process and were all approved by the Lagos state house of assembly. He was however silent on the revocation of the certificates of occupancy to the 25 plots at Lekki by the current governor. He also defended the huge debt overhang on Lagos by asserting that all loans during his tenure received parliamentary approval, further claiming that the state was “healthy and stable” at his departure. Finally the ex-governor claimed that all the unfounded allegations against him which began to emerge in his last days in office were the products of “agents of hate”. In a thinly veiled reference to Akinwumi and his estranged Godfather, Bola Tinubu, he chastised persons who had written petitions against him. He said: “I expect them to know that allegations of wrong doing are not resolved in press conferences”.

TINUBU’S BARE-FACE DENIAL

Meanwhile, Bola Tinubu has since distanced himself from the accusations of sleaze and malfeasance against the former poster boy of the APC, opting to shift the blame squarely at the door step of the now main opposition party, the PDP. In a recent statement, Mr. Tinubu said he is not behind the latest “rancid attacks” on Mr. Fashola.
“An attack against the performance of Governor Fashola is indirectly an attack against me and the edifice of achievement we have constructed in leading Lagos state out of a protracted time of stagnation and into an era of sustained progress and development,” said Mr. Tinubu.
He went on to accuse opposition elements of a deliberate attempt to sow discord in the APC by peddling falsehood.
“I for one will not bend to the artificial provocation of those seeking to tear at what we have painstakingly built over the years,” said Mr. Tinubu, who was also a governor in the state, between 1999 and 2007.
“In my mind, Governor Fashola and I are and shall always be political allies and fellow travelers on a vital journey; that alliance is unshakable and our journey must not be interrupted. I would no more attack his character or his administration than I would attack myself.”
With the storm beginning to seemingly blow out of control; it came as no surprise that the Tinubu camp responded vigorously in defense of his innocence.

It was also the first time Mr. Tinubu would speak out over claims that he was sponsoring individuals and groups to sustain media attacks against his successor. Many observers are convinced that the unseen hands of his former godfather Tinubu are behind Fashola’s travails, particularly with regards to the recent contracts revelations. Few are surprised at the turn of events. They point to the fact that Fashola had fallen out with Tinubu during his second term in office. It culminated with Fashola openly challenging Tinubu for the choice of their party’s gubernatorial candidate in the last elections. Tinubu was reportedly livid and all attempts to broker peace between the two of them fell apart. They related well in public, but in private, there was deep animosity. Tinubu bidded his time and it appears that the rumour that Buhari had Fashola in his ministerial list triggered his latest moves.

When Paparazzi sought the comment of a public affairs analyst on Fashola’s travails, he said: “Everyone who knows Tinubu agrees that he never forgives any form of challenge from any of his so-called godsons. What we are seeing now is a systematic destruction of the Fashola era with Akinwumi as launching pad. The danger however is that if all parties involved do not call a halt, they may all end up destroying each other. The Bola Tinubu era as governor had its own large share of controversies. Who bought the land used by the department of hotel and catering management of the Lagos state polytechnic and converted it to TVC television station? Everybody knows who the owner of TVC is. Who acquired the hostels of the Lagos State school of nursing at Awolowo way Ikoyi? Also, who converted the former Lagos government guest house at Ikoyi to personal use? The list is endless.”As a matter of fact, a damning statement by Afenifere. A Yoruba socio-cultural group before the last elections declared that Tinubu has been orchestrating the wholesale looting of Lagos from his time as governor and all through Fashola’s regime. The group accused Fashola of being used by “the lion of Bourdillon” to loot Lagos for eight years to the detriment of Lagosians. They accused Fashola of banning Lagos officials under his government from speaking to the press and also suppressing the freedom of information request on how much his government pays Alpha Beta Consulting owned by Tinubu from Lagos revenue monthly.Indeed, these are difficult times for a man once touted as a potential vice presidential candidate with a bright political future. A combination of relentless and devastating revelations by CACOL {Coalition against corrupt leaders}, Lagos PDP, Afenifere and the Lagos state government have literally torn his reputation to shreds.

Boko Haram Always Knew Movement Of Soldiers – Survivor

One of the survivors of Boko Haram insurgency, Zahra Umoru says the terrorists were receiving the information of the movements of the military.

Zahra Umoru
The girl was abducted in November and rescued recently with other women and children from Sambisa forest.

The teenager was speaking with the journalists of TheCable at Malkohi, one of the camps for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Yola, Adamawa state.

She said Boko Haram terrorists kept moving hostages from one place to the other.

Umoru narrates: “When they captured us, we were taken to a house in Gwoza.

“When they heard soldiers were in Madagali, they took us to Peta where we lived under trees.

“We don’t know how Boko Haram gets its information, but they always know when the soldiers are coming. If there’s something like that, they just tell us to pack our things and run.

“The night we left Gwoza, we just finished cooking, but we were not allowed to eat the food; we were just packed and left.”

Several other Boko Haram victims also corroborated this information. They said they were relocated from one village to another, one bush to the other, town to town, based on the itinerary of the Nigerian army.

Meanwhile, it is uncertain if the insurgents received its information from news reports and comments released by the Defence Headquarters or they have some insiders in the army.

Earlier in April, when the military was commencing the operation in Sambisa forest, Mike Omeri, coordinator of the national information centre, informed the journalists.

He said that the government was dedicated to liberating the girls.

About two weeks later, the army said in another comment that its soldiers were still present in Sambisa to rescue the girls.

Borno senator Ali Ndume has said that Nigerian army rescued about 1000 women and children in the North East.

After the postponement of the general elections for six weeks troops achieved success in the war against insurgency and most of the captured areas were liberated.

The mass kidnapping of more than 200 schoolgirls who were writing science exams at a boarding school in the town of Chibok, over a year ago, brought Boko Haram to the attention of the world and caused international outrage.

The terrorists kidnapped hundreds more in their campaign across northeastern Nigeria.

2015 general elections: I hope my wife will not divorce me - GEJ

Speaking at the thanksgiving and farewell service organized for him today, President Jonathan said he hopes his wife will not divorce him just as the former South African leader, F.W de Klerk's wife left him when he chose to abolish minority rule in South Africa, a decision he took for the greater good of South Africa. Pres. Jonathan was speaking against the backdrop of his decision to concede defeat after the presidential elections. He said such decisions come with its consequences. He sympathized with his Minister and aides for the persecution they will face as they also leave office come May 29th.
'I believe there are reasons for everything. Some hard decisions have their own cost. That I have ran the government this way that stabilized certain things,  the electoral process and other things that brought stability into this country. They were very costly decisions which I must be ready to pay for. Some people come to me and say this or that person is he not your friend that benefited? Is it not your government that this person benefited from? But this is what the person is saying. But I used to say worse statements will come. If you take certain decisions, you should know that those close to you will even abandon you at some point. And I tell them that more of my so-called friends will disappear. When F.W de Klerk took the decision to abolish minority rule in RSA, even his wife divorced him. I hope my wife will not divorce me. But that is the only decision that has made RSA to still remain a global player time. If we still had that minority rule there, by this time, nobody will be talking about RSA. If you take certain decisions, it might be good for the generality of the people but it might affect people differently. So for ministers and aides who served with me, I sympathize with them, they will be persecuted. And they must be ready for that persecution” he said
He appreciated God for being with him and his family.
"Very few of those in my age brackets have been that lucky. All through my education were on government scholarships. I have not suffered lack not because I’m hard-working but by God’s grace. When I look at the whole picture of my life up to when I became the president of this country. And I say that if  soldiers and police officers that have not received 0. 5 per cent of the benefits that I have received  from the state can lay their lives for  this country, I should  do anything in the interest of Nigeria including paying the supreme price. As long as live, I will continue to do my best for the state because the state has helped me as a person. I have to thank Nigerians especially my state for giving me  the opportunity to serve as deputy governor and the whole country gave me the opportunity to serve as Vice President and then president, first was to complete the tenure of the late president and later serve as president from which I am exiting now as a very happy and fulfilled man”.

Friends and associates have abandoned me since I lost the election - GEJ

Before? Unfortunately, that's how some people are. They are only around you for what they can get, but as soon you are no longer in the position to be of help to them, they are gone. President Jonathan, during his Thanksgiving farewell service yesterday told his audience that he's been abandoned by people who he once considered friends.

He said despite this, he is a fulfilled man and will continue to give his best to Nigeria.

"As long as I live, I will continue to do my best for the state because it has helped me as a person. I have to thank Nigerians especially my state for giving me the opportunity to serve as deputy governor, governor and the whole country gave me the opportunity to serve as Vice President and then President, first was to complete the tenure of the late President Umaru Yar’Adua and later serve as President from which I am exiting now as a very happy and fulfilled man”.
"When I look at the whole picture of my life up to when I became the President of this country, and I say that if soldiers and police officers that have not received 0. 5 per cent of the benefits that I have received from the state can lay their lives for this country, I should do anything in the interest of Nigeria including paying the supreme price."
Jonathan said he wasn't surprised that friends and associates have abandoned him, since losing the election and he expects worst things to happen in future. He said those that benefited most from his government were same people crucifying him today but he wasn't phased by it.

He thanked his ministers for having served him well and wished them the best in future endeavours.
“To my ministers, I wish you what I wish myself. They will have hard times, we will all have hard times. Our ways will be rough.”
But we are happy the ordinary people appreciate what we did and that is the most important. It’s not what the elite or the privileged few talk or say about you but what the majority of the Nigerian public think about your actions and inactions that matter.
“Like the Primate said, we came to Abuja peacefully and we are returning peacefully. “I thank the church and Nigerians because they stood by us at our most difficult times.

Police finally arrest Pastor who successfully steals from Lagos churches

One 45 year old Lagos Pastor,  Tope Kolawole has been arrested by the Lagos state Police command after a failed attempt to rob a church in the Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos state on March 31st.Speaking with press men today, the Lagos state Police command spokesperson, Kenneth Nwosu, disclosed that the suspect, Pastor Tope,  specialized in breaking into churches and stealing music instruments, wall clocks, offering and tithe.

He was however caught a few days back while where  trying t rob a church of its amplifier, two music mixers, one keyboard, one stabiliser, two DVD players and one Samsung plasma 32 inches television.

Owing up to the crime, Pastor Kolawole said
“I specialise in stealing from churches. I steal music instruments. I have a receiver and buyer known as Alausa. Without him, I would not have gone to churches to steal. When he heard that I have been arrested, he went into hiding. I steal in the churches I worship to avoid suspicion. I have been succeeding except this one.
I was remanded in Kirikiri prison by Task Force from Alausa for hawking on the highway. I am a qualified pastor because I went to theological school and was ordained pastor in 2008 at Ile-Ife by Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) but I worship at Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at any of their parishes. It is the devil that caused my frustration that made me to steal in the house of God. My wife Bunmi is a nurse with children. I live in Sango and go to Lagos to operate because Ogun is good for hiding after operation. It was what the Task Force did to me that made me to become a thief because they made me lose everything I had got in 10 years.
I used to gather items at about 10:30pm and by 5am, I go to nearby road to look for taxi to take me to Oshodi. Where the taxi driver is in doubt, I call Alausa who claims to be the General Overseer of a particular church I once stole from. He is the one that pays the taxi driver once I deliver the goods. I am now a born again; if I am released, I will open a church and appoint those suspects elders of my church. We will not rob again but work for God.”

Seyi Law shares touching story of wife's cesarean surgery plus why he lost baby

Its been about two months since ace comedian Seyi Law and wife Ebere lost their baby few hours after  birth.

The couple  have kept mum about issues surrounding the death of their first child. They recently celebrated their fourth year in marriage and Seyi Law opened up to Encomium magazine on the painful experience  Read excerpts

Sorry about the loss of your baby, how did you feel when you heard the news?

It was not a news that came in a day because it was a process. Actually, there was a diagnosis. We got the result and we were hopeful it would change. Up to the time she went for the caesarean section, we were still hopeful but we just want to thank God her life was preserved and God kept her strong ever since.

I would say, she is the strongest woman I have ever known not because she is my wife, but because she was able to recover fast knowing full well I had to do little or nothing to console her which was why I was scared. The fear in me grew because I was scared of consoling her. How would I be able to hold her hands and say everything is okay, how would I look into her eyes and say it will be alright and much more which was what drove me to write on my Instagram page because I needed people to talk to me and let me know how to talk to her. I just want to appreciate Nigerians who sent words of advice, their condolences. God has been awesome with the family.

What exactly was the result of the diagnosis?

I cannot go into detail as to what happened because I do not want to remind my wife of the pains she went through. We know the body does not come back the same until God has done something new that could take her mind off it. It is still a process as it is barely two months. It is tough but I want to remain grateful to God for everything.

Knowing you were heartbroken, how exactly were you able to console her?

After the whole thing, I was at the hospital with her which was something that gave her strength because when she opened her eyes, I was the first person she saw and she was able to hold my hands. The only thing I was able to do was to keep praying. I can’t say my words were the most comforting, but I think God had gone before me to comfort her because I was not sure. I just kept telling her you would be a mother very soon and people are going to celebrate you. Just allow this phase to pass and you would know that God is awesome.

When the news broke, people said she lost the pregnancy and not the child?

The thing is, what most people did not understand was a caesarean was done, the baby was brought out alive and the doctors tried to save the baby, but after about six hours, the baby lost the battle. So, it was not miscarriage. After the birth, I had the baby in my arms. I heard the baby cry. I remember I was in the theatre with them when they brought out the baby and I fainted.

What are you most grateful for?

I am grateful for life, and for people. Aside the fact that God has given me life, I am grateful that God has surrounded me with people who are loving. I am grateful that I am able to provide for people and my life and career is increasing daily. The fact that God has been there with me, seeing me through all that happened.

What would you say to your fans?

God will keep blessing them, and keep them because if God does not keep them, they won’t be here to support us. It is from that blessing they are able to reach out into their pocket to support our business.

I thank God for them because it has been great and awesome because it all goes a long way.

Pastor Chris Oyakilome DID NOT ban singer, Sinach from singing in his church

Yesterday, viral reports claimed that award winning Gospel Singer, Osinachi Kalu aka Sinach had been banned from singing during services or any special occasion at Christ Embassy.

The reports said "Sinach got the shocking restriction from the pulpit after she performed at ‘The Experience’ last year December. Aside Sinach’s performance at The Experience, she also got the punishment because Pastor Oyakilome wasn’t in support of the man she married.

“The Pastor placed an order that none of his staff is permitted to take outside jobs, despite the fact that the church’s salary doesn’t come regularly. The problem between Sinach and the Pastor started when she got married to Pastor Joe. He wasn’t in support of their union.

Although Sinach still attends services, she doesn’t sing in the church, special programme or communion service. In fact she might even leave the church soon"

Well, it is all a LIE!

Sinachs husband, Joe Egbu debunked the reports saying " These are all lies from the pit of hell. None of those things written is true. Sinach  is having a wonderful father-daughter relationship with our Pastor. She just came back from Uganda, on a Programme that Our  Man of God, Pastor Chris, sent her. My Marriage with Sinach has full approval and blessings of Our Man of God. Christ Embassy is our Home."
