Groom Abandons Bride At RCCG Church, You Won’t Believe Why (See Photos)

On Saturday, 22nd February, a groom called off his wedding after the Redeemed christian church of God RCCG that was supposed to wed them conducted a pregnancy test and it came out positive.

After keeping guests waiting for about two hours the groom came out and announced to the astonished guests that he was no longer interested in the marriage.

The bride, Cynthia who insisted she was not pregnant did another pregnancy test in a different hospital which came out negative. The church did a second test with their own doctor and again their own test came out positive again.

The groom said he had never slept with the girl hence he couldn’t go on with the wedding.
Despite the wedding being called off, guests still sat down to eat and drink and even pack souvenirs.
Worst part of it is that the man’s people still had the guts to pack the wedding cake, wine and other drinks as well as souvenirs and it was not the guy that bought any of those thing.
All this time the poor bride still in her wedding gown kept crying and insisting she wasn’t pregnant.

Love For Okada! Dead man buried in transparent coffin while sitting on his Harley-Davidson Bike

By: Anika Rao

A man who loved his bike a lot, took it with him when he died.
Bill Standley, 87, of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, spent many years traveling across the United States, on his 1967 Electra Glide.

Standley left behind three children, two sons and a daughter.

His daughter, Dorothy Brown, said that the idea for her father being buried with his beloved bike, came about 18 years ago when they were discussing what to do with this bike when he died.
Described as a kind of colorful personality, Standley was determined to take the bike with him when he departed.

"What am I supposed to do? I have two children, but only one bike,” he said.

His daughter suggested: "oh dad, just be buried with it."

Standley liked the idea, and went with it.

With the help of his two sons Pete and Roy, they created a 9 feet by 11 feet plexiglass box.

6 years ago, Standley purchased three plots in the cemetery next to his wife Lorna, so there's enough space for him and his Harley-Davidson.

Last year, Standley was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and he died of lung cancer on Sunday.

He was buried while sitting on his bike as planned.

SHOCKING: Cultists Rip Out 17-Year-Old Bowen Student's Intestines For Rejecting 'Sexual Advances' & 'Being Too Proud' (PHOTOS)

The life of a 17-year-old student of Bowen University, Opeyemi Odusanya, has been cut short by some cult members in Lagos.

It was gathered that the undergraduate was murdered for allegedly rejecting sexual advances from some youths in the area and also for “being too proud.”

It was learnt that the victim was a 300 level student of Biochemistry at the university.
Police authorities said that Opeyemi was stabbed to death by the cultists at her parents’ house in the Alakuko area of Lagos on February 3, 2014.
Police sources also said that investigations had revealed that the culprits were residents of the area.
A police officer, who wished to remain anonymous, said, “In the afternoon of February 3, 2014, the deceased went to buy airtime for her telephone. As she was returning, a group of cult members trailed and entered the house with her.

“Opeyemi was alone at home when the guys entered. They instructed her to turn on the generator so that if she screamed, no one would hear.

“We believe that they wanted to rape the girl, but she must have put up a fierce struggle as the whole house was scattered.

“The guys subsequently stabbed her in the stomach several times and ripped out her intestines.

“After killing her, they took her phone and the keys to her parents’ vehicle, a jeep, which was on the table. They stole the jeep, which was parked in the compound, after killing the girl.”

The sources revealed that after the guys had fled, they used Opeyemi’s telephone line to send a text message to her mother, explaining why they killed the 17-year-old.

The text message, which was typed in English and Yoruba languages, and made available to our correspondent, read, “Your child has been proud. We have been toasting her, but she has refused to accept. We have killed her to teach a lesson. We have also driven your car away.

“If you want your car back, come to Lakas Hotel or Cele Bus Stop around Mile 2 to pick it up. If we see policemen around, we will kill everybody.”

Residents of the area said that the victim’s mother, Olayinka, had a panic attack after reading the message and quickly informed those that were with her.

However, a phone call from the family’s housemaid was said to have confirmed Olayinka’s fears that the text message was not a bluff.

It was gathered that the mother of the deceased, who is a senior official at the Mushin Local Government secretariat, later reported the incident at the Alakuko Police Division.
According to the police source the murder weapon had been recovered.

“By all indications, the girl was not raped because her clothes were intact. The knife used in killing her has been recovered,” the policeman said.

It was gathered that the parents of the girl had relocated to the Redemption Camp on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

When contacted on the telephone, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ngozi Braide, said, “I have called the Divisional Police Officer at the Alakuko Police Division and he said he was not aware of the incident.

SHOCKER: Tinubu’s Daughter In Bribery Scandal

Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of former Lagos State Governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has been embroiled in a bribery allegation.

According to a report, it was alleged that Tinubu-Ojo, who is Lagos State's market leader, demanded millions of naira and cards of APC before she re-opened the Abibatu Mogaji Model Market in Lagos.

The market, popularly called Iponri Market, was recently opened 10 days after it was locked up by the market leader.
It was learnt that the market was opened, after each trader paid between N500 and N1, 000 as fine, while those who did not pay the money as of Saturday, were fined N5,000.
Market sources said while Tinubu-Ojo demanded N5m from the traders before the market was opened, those she sent to open it made an extra demand of N200,000, but the traders bargained and paid N50,000.
Investigation also revealed that part of the conditions given by Tinubu-Ojo before she ordered the market to be opened was that all the marketers must tender their membership card of the APC.
It was reported on February 12 how Tinubu’s daughter stormed the market penultimate Saturday with a team of policemen and locked it without giving any explanation.
Traders, who spoke the condition of anonymity, had, however, said the crackdown was the fallout of a fight between a woman loyal to Tinubu-Ojo and a member of the market committee.
The woman was said to have been locked up in a police cell, which made the state market leader angry.
When newsmen visited Iponri Market on Tuesday, he observed that life was gradually returning to it. It was learnt that the market committee had been dissolved, while the market leaders had been asked to “step aside.”
A source, who pleaded anonymity said, “Part of the decisions of the meeting we had with the Iyaloja-General (Tinubu-Ojo) on Thursday was that the market leaders should step aside for some time, while the market committee should be dissolved.
“Those of us operating big shops were asked to pay N1,000 as fine, while those with small shops were told to pay N500. Those who did not pay when others contributed the money have been asked to pay N5,000.
“The women that the Iyaloja-General asked to open the gate for us asked for N200, 000 extra, but people begged them, and they eventually collected N50,000.”
Tinubu-Ojo however, confirmed the opening of the market when asked on the phone, adding that money was collected as fine, which was a norm in the market.
She said, “We have opened the market. I sent some people to open it. Yes, we collected money as fine, which is the norm in the market. But I don’t know what other thing you are talking about.”

Coca cola And NBC To Go Under Inspection Over Soft Drinks Unfit For Human Consumption

Consumer Protection Council has directed Coca Cola Nigeria Limited and the Nigerian Bottling Company to subject their manufacturing processes to the Council’s inspection for a period of 12 months to ensure compliance with laid down safety standards and regulations or face prosecution.

The directive came as a result of the outcome of a recent investigation by the CPC, which revealed that cans of sprite soft drink manufactured by NBC under the licence of Coca Coca Nigeria Limited, were unfit for human consumption.
The Director General, CPC, Mrs. Dupe Atoki, disclosed this at a press briefing on the ‘Investigation into Violation of Product Quality Standards by the Nigerian Bottling Company and Coca Cola Nigeria Limited’, in Lagos yesterday.
However, in a joint statement signed by Mr.Clem Ugorji Public Affairs & Communications Manager Coca Cola Nigeria Limited and Adeyanju Olomola Head, Public Affairs and Communications, Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC) and Coca Cola Nigeria Limited (CCNL) confirmed that the Consumer Protection Council (CPC) recently carried out a product complaint investigation involving both companies in respect of two short filled cans of Sprite.
The statement said that “each organization cooperated with the Council in the course of the investigation and provided the information available to it in varying respects including but not limited to quality assurance, product handling and consumer complaints resolution processes which have been updated over the years. It is regrettable that the Council’s conclusions and recommendations do not appear to have acknowledged the information.
“As responsible organizations, NBC and CCNL take all matters relating to products very seriously and remain committed to maintaining the highest international quality management and food safety standards and certifications. Because consumers are at the heart of everything we do, both organizations also take a responsive approach towards satisfying customers and consumers. Nigerian Bottling Company Limited and Coca Cola Nigeria Limited hold the Council and, indeed, all regulators and stakeholders in high esteem and will continue to work with them to make any necessary improvement.
But the Director General Consumer Protection Council said “The Panel, after five hearings, held between September 2013 and February, 2014 substantiated the allegation of product defect and violation of the Consumer Protection Council Act, though the investigation was premised on two half filled cans of Sprite, it led to a plethora of findings, among which are: that the cans of Sprite are products of the Nigerian Bottling Company under license of Coca Coca Nigeria Limited; that the cans of sprite were defective and had health and safety implications for consumers;
“that Nigerian Bottling Company does not have a detailed written shelf life policy for dealing with expired products; that Nigerian Bottling Company’s grievance resolution policy does not cover instances where the consumer suffers physical injury from consumption, or compensation in instances where Replacement will be inadequate; at Nigerian Bottling Company’s supply chain management does not extend to retailers who the bulk of Nigerian consumers buy their products from; and that Nigerian Bottling Company’s traceability policy fails to’ effectively address the real purpose as the company often relies on information as to the place of purchase of the product. In view of all these, the Council made far reaching recommendations for system change in Nigerian Bottling Company and Coca Cola Nigeria Limited.
“To this effect, it has issued an Order, which gives clear directions for standard compliance in all areas that the companies have been found wanting.
The Order requires Nigerian Bottling Company and Coca Cola Nigeria Limited to:  subject their manufacturing process to the Council’s inspection for a period of 12 months to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations; formulate and make available to the Council a Shelf Life Policy within 90 days to facilitate the removal of expired products from the market; review within 90 days their grievance resolution policy to : address compensation for injuries, or compensation in instances where replacement will be inadequate; review their supply chain management policy within 90 days to include retailers in order to minimise the distribution of defective, ‘ non conforming or expired products.  review within 90 days their traceability policy to make it easier for  the companies to track their products without necessarily requesting purchase information from the consumer.

JILTED: 56-Year-Old White Woman Who Fell In Love, Married 28-Year-Old Nigerian Man Finds Out He's After Her Money (PHOTO)

56-year-old woman, Jane Cole fell in love with a 28yr old Nigerian bartender, Michael in 2005 but got her heart broken after she realised he was just after her money.

Jane Cole, 56, knew that The Gambia in Western Africa had a reputation for being a hotbed of holiday romances between young local men and older British women.
But when she decided to take a break there with her friend Vanessa in 2005, she never thought she'd find herself caught up in one.
'I'm quite worldly-wise,' said Jane, from Rothwell, who considered herself too sensible to get embroiled with a younger man.But then she met Michael, a 28-year-old Nigerian bartender, and his charming, attentive nature drew her in immediately.

Michael quickly made it clear he wanted more than just a one-night stand while she was on holiday in the country. He wanted a relationship. 'I was completely sucked in,' said Jane.

When Michael proposed, Jane decided to keep it a secret from her younger sister Tracy, knowing she would disapprove. Instead, she flew to The Gambia and married him, leaving Tracy to call her a fool.

Quickly, Jane began to see that she might have been right.
Michael said he wanted to move into Jane's house with her in the UK, even though she had set her heart on a new life in The Gambia, as they had discussed. Nonetheless, she loved him, so she agreed.

But as soon as the couple arrived in the UK, Jane began to question Michael's loyalty, especially when he began disappearing for long periods.

After calling a number that appeared frequently on his phone bill, she reached a woman with whom Michael had been having a relationship for six years.

'When I confronted Michael he just admitted it and laughed. "People laugh then they see us together," he said. I was devastated. My self-confidence sunk to an all-time low. He had drained me of everything, both financially and emotionally.'

'I blamed myself for being foolish and falling for it. I'm supposed to be intelligent but I never had an inkling. I believed everything he said. And if he had told me the woman was just a friend, I'd still have believed him.'

Why Vitamin A Is Dangerous For Pregnant Women

Dr Adeolu Arikawe, a General Physician, on Wednesday, advised pregnant women to avoid the intake of Vitamin A, as it could cause abnormalities in babies.
“A pregnant woman should avoid the intake of Vitamin A in pregnancy as much as possible because it has been identified to be one of the causes of abnormalities in some babies,” he said.
Arikawe also explained that an expectant mother should be encouraged to take some multivitamins, to boost appetite and develop immunity.
“Folic acid is necessary for the development of the foetal nervous system, which starts forming very early in pregnancy. It is important to start taking multivitamins before pregnancy to correct any form of deficiency,’’ he said.
He also advised pregnant to be taking blood building drugs for blood production, noting that most pregnant women had low red blood cell concentration.
Arikawe explained that low blood cell concentration could be harmful to the foetus, if below critical point.
“Although there is no special diet for pregnant women, some food items have to be avoided. For instance, there is risk of acquiring toxoplasmosis infection from raw or under-cooked meat. Toxoplasmosis is a parasite that does significant damage to the foetus than it does to the mother,’’ Arikawe said.

“Our 4th Child Is Not Yours”: Born Again Wife Confesses Past Adultery To Husband

The confession of a mother of five that her former boss was the biological father of her fourth child is now threatening her 25-year-old marriage. Her husband, 57-year-old Isaac Jemibola, a civil servant, has approached an Ikole Customary Court in Ekiti State, seeking the dissolution of his marriage to the woman, 48-year-old Olayemi.

Jemibola based his divorce plea on the ground that the respondent confessed committing adultery in 2002.

He urged the court in the petition filed on January 21, to grant him custody of the five children from the marriage.

The petition told the court that he married Olayemi in 1989 according to the native law and custom.
According to him, “after retiring to bed on January 19, my wife came to me and knelt down.

“She confessed to have had an extramarital affair with her former boss which resulted in the pregnancy of the fourth child.

“My wife said she had given her life to Christ and that her desire to make heaven made her confess based on the advice from her pastor.

“She added that the paternity of the fourth child was in doubt since both the boss and I slept with her the same week,’’ he said.

Jemibola further told the court that he reported the matter to his parents who pleaded with the woman to reverse her confession.

“She however insisted that she was following the dictates of the Bible.

“I purposely don’t want to do the DNA test because I don’t want to hate the child.’’ he said.

Olayemi admitted committing the offence, but kicked against dissolution of the marriage.

“I did it because Jemibola was befriending another woman during the period which made him abandon me for almost six months.

“It was that same period that my former boss, who normally took me to work in his car, made love advances at me. Both men made love with me at almost the same period.

“After some years, I discovered that the child looked quite different from his siblings and out of guilt, I decided to tell him the truth.

“I pleaded for his forgiveness but he refused,’’ Olayemi said.

In her ruling, the court president, Mrs Yemisi Ojo, said: “In the interest of justice and in the spirit of promoting reconciliation between the two parties, the case will be adjourned till April 7 for report of settlement.’’
