The corpse of a man who was electrocuted inside a transformer cabin was found by the residents of Lonlo area of Iju-Ishaga, Lagos after they woke up yesterday.
The identity of the deceased who was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans trousers could not be ascertained, and the deceased tried to remove the steel covering of the power equipment when there was darkness and power failure. Unfortunately for the deceased power was restored and that resulted to a spark from the transformer.
Passers by saw his Still body and guessed it was an official of the Ikeja Power Distribution Company not until he was observed closely and they later learnt that he was electrocuted.. Residents of Lonlo area of Iju-Ishaga gathered at the scene to have a glimpse.
The local government council had been informed by the Police sources at Iju towards removing the corpse.
